There are several custom options available to accompany the purchase of a J. C. Zimny fly rod. Please read on.
Cork Grips:
All of our grips are of the finest grade flor, specie cork. This is sorted and only about 50% of this is used. However, occasionally, we acquire small lots of incredibly flawless cork. It is not inexpensive; but, if you would like a handle that was available on the premium rods of yesteryear, call us for a quote. Special grips are available on the following terms. 1) buyer approves the shape and size of the grip and reelseat. 2) buyer returns grip assembly with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price of the rod.
Strippers: Our standard stripper is an 8, 9, or 10 mm carbide/nickel silver Mildrum. First quality agate strippers are available for a $40 additional charge.
Reel Seat Spacer: Select, highly figured hardwoods are available at no extra charge. Impregnated burl wood is available at $35 additional.

Rod Cases: The J. C. Zimny rod comes with a premium brass capped, black aluminum case, and cloth bag.
Hexagonal and premium leather cases are available on special request.
